Terms of use
The ground rules for using glowforge.uk.
Information, not advice
Everything on this site is general information for hobbyists and small makers. We take specifications from manufacturers’ own pages and date them, but makers change products and pages without notice. Always check the manufacturer’s current specifications, manual and safety instructions before you buy or use a machine.
Safety
Laser cutters and 3D printers can cause fires, eye injuries and harmful fumes. Our safety and materials guides are a starting point, not a substitute for the manufacturer’s instructions, a material’s safety data sheet or, at work, a proper risk assessment. You are responsible for operating your machine safely.
Independence and trademarks
glowforge.uk is an independent guide. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Glowforge Inc. Glowforge is a trademark of Glowforge Inc. Other product names and brands mentioned are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify products. No endorsement by any brand is implied.
Links and purchases
We link to retailers and manufacturers. We don’t sell anything ourselves and aren’t responsible for third-party websites, their prices, stock or terms. Some links are affiliate links — see our affiliate disclosure.
Our content
The text, line drawings and design of this site are ours. Photos are used under the licences shown with each one and on our photo credits page. Project ideas are our own; you’re welcome to make them for personal use.
Liability
We work to keep the site accurate but can’t guarantee it is complete or up to date. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
