Things to consider
- Diode laser: Glowforge lists glass, clear, white and blue acrylic, vinyl and Draftboard as incompatible
- Warranty covers normal single-family household use, not business or continuous use
- Needs Wi-Fi and an internet connection to start prints
- Vent through a window or use Glowforge’s optional Craft Laser Filter
Who it suits
Home crafters who want an enclosed, camera-guided laser for wood, leather, paper and opaque acrylic projects.
Buying in the UK
As of 4 October 2026: Glowforge’s own shop page for the Aura said “Ships to US customers only”. Hobbycraft, which Glowforge named as its UK retailer in 2022, showed the Aura as click and collect only (no home delivery). Amazon.co.uk has a product page for the Aura, but it showed no standard offer — only “See all buying options” — when we checked. Glowforge’s UK warranty page covers the Aura for one year. Spec page: 110/220 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz.
